Let us recycle your Christmas tree by turning it into mulch! Bring it to Norwood Fontbonne Academy (SUNSET AVE parking lot) on Sunday January 6th between 9:30am and 12:30pm.
We are requesting a $5 donation per tree which funds GRinCH's Green Warrior Student grant program.
I'd be there in a second except that I'm up in Calgary! Good on you guys for doing this though. I usually let my tree dry out though and use it for firewood later in the winter. You can only really get one good fire out of a normal-sized tree, but it feels good to recycle its use. That fire always feels like a hefty trip to the bottle depot for me in terms of the environmental pat on the back I give myself.
