September Electronics Recycling/Weird Waste Day in Chestnut Hill

9 am to Noon Norwood-Fontbonne Academy (circular driveway)

Weavers Way Environment Committee and GRinCH (Green in Chestnut Hill) are co-sponsoring this collection. We'll take take computers, televisions, keyboards, cell phones, etc. — anything with a plug! Materials collected will be responsibly recycled, adhering to strict recycling regulations.
We will suggest voluntary donations of $10 to $20. Household
batteries will be accepted for $1 per pound (no lithium batteries,
please). There will be a required charge of $30 for TVs and monitors
(CRTs) and $10 for air conditioners, microwaves and dehumidifiers, which
covers the costs of recycling. Donations received will benefit the
Weavers Way Environment Committee's grants program and GRinCH's Green
Warrior Student Grant Program.
