Eco Alley recap!
Eco Alley at Sunday's Garden Fest was super popular despite the rain! Folks had a great time watching Urban Drawl and dancing in the rain. Kiddie yoga was cancelled becasue of the rain but the lovely Dierdre Killkenny of Nature Yoga came by just in case the rain gave a reprieve.
Once the rain subsided festival goers perused the wares at Philadelphia Salvage, Ecoquette, Happy Cat Farms and Nexus Recycled Art.
Many thanks to Green Earth Gardens who created our beautiful entryway and to Valley Green Bank for allowing the bank to be the drop off point for books for the Book FreeCycle. Also a big thank you to the hard working GRinCH volunteers who sorted books for hours: Noreen Spota, Mansura Karim, Lee Meinicke, Linda Rauscher, Joan Martini and Zeta Cross. And a very special thank you to all of the citizens who gave a donation at the book FreeCycle and at Weird Waste Day last Saturday.
All doantions fund GRinCH's Green Warrior student grant program.
