The NEXT Weird Waste Day!

September Electronics Recycling/Weird Waste Day in Chestnut Hill
Saturday, September 24th
9 am to Noon
Norwood-Fontbonne Academy (circular driveway)
8891 Germantown Avenue

Weavers Way Environment Committee and GRinCH (Green in Chestnut Hill) are co-sponsoring this collection.  We'll take take computers, televisions, keyboards, cell phones, etc. — anything with a plug!  Materials collected will be responsibly recycled, adhering to strict recycling regulations.
We will suggest voluntary donations of $10 to $20.  Household batteries will be accepted for $1 per pound (no lithium batteries, please).  There will be a required charge of $30 for TVs and monitors (CRTs) and $10 for air conditioners, microwaves and dehumidifiers, which covers the costs of recycling.  Donations received will benefit the Weavers Way Environment Committee's grants program and GRinCH's Green Warrior Student Grant Program.
Please help us spread the word by passing this email on to those who might be interested.  Request a PDF file of the event flyer by replying to this email.

Save the date. We hope to see you there!
